ABOUT A&A CINEMA
A&A Cinema was founded by Angel and Austin Dickholtz in 2022 in leu of the projects and opportunities we tackle together as a team as well as within our individual skillsets. We are multi-disciplinary filmmakers surrounding long form and short form media projects throughout development, pre-production, principle photography, post-production, and media relations. Each production is different and requires a one-of-a-kind approach to bring a concept into reality.
The foundation of A&A Cinema is a combination of Austin’s education at Full Sail University in Florida alongside his work in Atlanta where Austin shifted his focus from the DGA to pursue independent work across the U.S. In collaboration with Angel’s nearly ten years as a traveling filmmaker and HMU Designer throughout NYC, LA, DFW, PHX, OKC and more. After meeting in Arizona during our time at Turning Point USA, we began developing projects together to continue our support for conservative values and anti-censorship platforms. The entertainment industry is a shared passion that further inspires our work and drives our pursuits in storytelling.
A&A Cinema LLC is American based and established in Dallas, TX.
Our genres of work vary across dramas, comedies, period pieces, westerns, live media and events, documentaries, campaigns, and podcasts.
We strive to empower and support forward-thinking clients in the independent media industries through the freedom of speech. While we are a power-house team, have our respective fields and we partner with trusted experts in their element to ensure every collaboration is a success.
A&A Cinema is a member of the Dallas Producer’s Association and Texas Film Commission.
Angel and Austin are Texas film incentive liaisons for feature, series, and commercial productions.
ANGEL
ANGEL is a Producer, Hair-Makeup Designer, and Creative Director throughout tv/film, commercial, editorial, and live media. Past clients include NBC, ABC, FOX, Paramount+, Condé Nast, Apple+, Men’s Health, Amazon, Google, College Humor, A21, Alliance Bernstein, and Bloomberg as well as a variety of indie projects across the U.S.
Film credits include various Sundance projects alongside Oscar Nominated Short The Letter Room in 2021.
Angel has 10+ years of experience as a freelance artist. Her passion for her work naturally reflects in her creative expression, whether undone or refined. Further filmography is available on IMDB while her content is found streaming on AppleTV, HBO, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and more.
Angel was born in OK, trained in NYC, and now based in DFW, traveling nationwide with her husband and A&A Cinema Partner, Austin Dickholtz.
AUSTIN
AUSTIN is a 1st Assistant Director and Producer in both long form and short form narrative storytelling through features, television, commercial, reality, documentary, live broadcasting, and shorts. Past clients include Paramount+, FOX, STARZ, CBS, TBS, The History Channel, A&E Networks, Adidas, and ESPN, as well as a variety of indie projects across the U.S.
His strong suits thrive around organization, leading production teams, scheduling, script breakdowns, stage managing, video editing, and graphic design as well as bridging together pre-production, production and post production for a cohesive product.
Austin grew up outside Chicago before moving to Florida where he graduated with a bachelors in Film at Full Sail University. Following his time in FL, he worked in Atlanta with various productions while partnering with the local DGA as well as working as a freelancer in Phoenix, AZ.
Austin relocated to Dallas, TX in 2023 with his wife and A&A Cinema Partner, Angel Dickholtz.
